Eleven Weeks

How Far Along: 11 Weeks
Size of baby: Our precious little blessing is the size of a lime!
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Still gaining... :)

Maternity Clothes: Went shopping with my Mama and my Sister this weekend and found a dress (which I'm wearing in this picture!) and 3 skirts. I'm pretty sure the skirts will last me through the summer because of the material! They are very stretchy!
Gender: Still feeling like it might be a boy. Daddy still really wants a girl.
Movement: Moving a lot on the ultrasound screen, but I can't feel it yet!
Sleep: Sleeping much better. I only get up once or twice.
What I miss: Nothing just feeling SO blessed to be carrying this gift!
Cravings: Sour gummy worms and Oreos

Symptoms: Just a little bit of nauseousness left and a little lower back pain, also my growing belly!

Best Moment this week: Definitely the ultrasound and seeing our sweet pea for the first time. It made it all so real, and I was so relieved to hear the heartbeat after the midwife couldn't find the heartbeat at my appointment.

It has also been so much fun sharing our pictures with family and friends! I got to go home to MD for a few days and spend time with my parents, grandparents and everyone I love so much. Then we made a quick unexpected trip to PA on Sunday to be with our home church for their anniversary! I'm so glad we had the ultrasound when we did so we could take the pictures with us! Another sweet moment was finding my little cousin sitting quietly holding the pictures and staring intently at them. She is such a source of joy in my life and to see her so excited about the baby thrills my heart!

  1. Looking good, girl! My doctor couldn't find Hopper's heartbeat once and I nearly lost it. I just had to wait a couple minutes until I had an ultrasound, but it was a scary couple minutes! And I saw the baby's picture, but didn't have a chance to comment until now. Presh!! You're giving me the fever! ;)

    1. I was a MESS for two days. I was terrified. Our appointment was on Tuesday and I had to wait until Thursday morning for the ultrasound. When she turned the screen and the baby was moving all around, I was so relieved! Then to see the little hands moving! Oh my goodness! When she let us hear the heartbeat, it just made my week!
