How Far Along: 9 Weeks
Size of baby: Our sweet little peanut is the size of a green olive!
Total Weight Gain/Loss: I've lost 6 pounds this week due to a wonderful stomach bug my Sunday School students shared with me on Sunday. (This picture was taken before it arrived on Monday.) Before it hit, I did get back to my
Pregnancy exercise DVD. It makes a big difference with my energy level.
Maternity Clothes: Not yet!
Gender: Daddy really wants a girl. I do too. We'll have to wait until late May to find out! I'm starting to make plans for our gender reveal! We won't be able to have it until mid-June to make sure all of our family can be here, but it will be worth the wait!
Movement: still busy growing, no moving yet.
Sleep: Sleeping hasn't improved. I wake up a lot during the night.
What I miss: Just having the energy to clean the house!
Cravings: This week I've been back to saltines and ginger ale! :(
Symptoms: The metal taste has subsided! :) But this stomach bug has been rough. I am so exhausted, but very grateful for a husband that has picked up my slack to allow me to rest.
Best Moment this week: Going home to MD/PA to spend some time with our favorite people in the world over the weekend! We got back at 2:30 Sunday morning so that explains how tired I looked in this picture when Daniel took it before church!
Also getting closer to our ten week appointment and maybe getting to hear the heartbeat!
That little heartbeat is the best sound in the world! And what pregnancy exercise dvd do you have? I'm looking for some.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait! I use Lindsay Brin's Complete Pregnancy Fitness Program. I got it on Amazon.com and it comes with 4 DVDs! One for each trimester and then a post natal one for after the baby comes. I only paid around $20 for it!
DeleteThat's really cool. I think I'll look that up :) Thanks!
